This is a pre-owned cytocentrifuge by StatSpin in an excellent working condition. It is mainly used for in-vitro diagnosis, to concentrate cells from fluids onto microscope slides to achieve high levels of clarity and details. It is considered as an alternative to the smear techniques. The CytoFuge 2 is a microprocessor-controlled cell preparation system that uses centrifugal force to deposit cells onto microscope slides. Specifications: Speed: 600rpm- 4400rpm Cycles timer: 2 min - 30 min Automatic acceleration rate control and dynamic braking are included to protect delicate samples 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz It comes with the power cable, the rotor and the instruction manual (including the sample preparation steps).
