Here is a book entitled STEAM with a subtitle of ITS GENERATION AND USE. The book has a copyright date of 1930, by THE BABCOCK AND WILCOX COMPANY. The book has 361 pages and is in really fine condition. It seems to have been hardly used. There are no torn pages or penciled pages, and the binding is very good. There are beautiful photo-engravings of various BABCOCK plants around the world. There are also photo-engravings of various boilers and their applications in different buildings in the United States. There are various tables showing how much oxygen is used, how much carbon dioxide and water vapor is produced, etc. This is the kind of book that any mechanical engineer or anyone with an interest in the production of steam energy would be interested in.
