Steel City 54151-CFB Pre-Galvanized Steel Octagon Ceiling Fan Support Box with C-5 Non-Metallic Cable Clamps and 1/2-Inch Knockouts Contains 4'' octagon box with all necessary hardware to mount a ceiling fan when a cross member brace is used. 15.5 cu. in. 1 1/2'' deep. Maximum fixture weight is 150 lb., maximum fan weight is 70 lb. Exceeds National Electrical code requirements. Recommended for earthquake areas. From the Manufacturer The Steel City 54151 CFB is a pre-galvanized steel octagon ceiling fan support box with 1/2-Inch knockouts and a C-5 non-metallic cable clamp. It has a 4-Inch diameter and is 1-1/2-Inch deep with a 15.8-Cubic Inch capacity. There are three 1/2-Inch conduit knockouts on this box, one on each end and one in the center. This particular ceiling fan box has a maximum recommended load of 35-Pound for fans and 50-Pound for fixtures and is intended for use with conduit or non-metallic sheathed cable. .
