Used Stenograph Stentura 8000 machine. I am a working reporter and tested this machine today. Used for a few years without issue until I changed machines. Writes to disc, also works with real time cable (not included) or wireless device such as a StenoCast. All keys make contact & function well, although the touch is a bit loose for my taste. It could benefit from a professional cleaning. It hasn't been serviced in a few years, but I used it for an hour long court proceeding today and it worked fine. The little tabs on the front cover are broken off, although it does not hinder the opening or closing of the cover, or the function of the machine. I've tried to get close ups in the second and last pictures. Listing is for machine ONLY. Does not include power cord, tripod or paper tray. There is a battery, although it doesn't really hold a charge. I also write paperless, so there is no ribbon cartridge. Great working machine for a student or professional, although it's being sold as is. Sorry, but no returns accepted.
