This STI HemataStat II Hematocrit Centrifuge & 6 place rotor is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. Benchtop model that has a fixed 6 place rotor with a 1 minute timer, safety lid lock and digital display work as they should. Designed to operate between 5,670 & 6,930 RPM. Can also be operated on battery power however there is no battery pack included and a battery pack will have to be acquired if you want it fully portable. (STI) HemataStat II Microhematocrit System is a small, lightweight centrifuge which provides a rapid and accurate microhematocrit determination using capillary or venous blood samples. The HemataStat II is not intended for use with materials other than blood. The rotor will accommodate up to six standard 75mm capillary tubes. The device will achieve specimen separation in only one minute. Has a LCD that displays messages to guide the operator throughout the testing procedure and then displays the test results. Condition & Testing Excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. I ran it through several cycles and it is working perfectly. Super easy to operate. The safety lid lock is working. Very quiet while running. The bearing for rotor feels tight and all 4 rubber feet are in good condition. This is a pre-owned centrifuge and does show some minimal signs of use. The power supply is good. Works great plugged in and there is a battery compartment on the bottom but no battery pack is included therefore battery function has not been tested.
