This is a ts 400 crankcase for a stihl.  The cases are in good solid re useable condition.  There are no breaks, cracks etc.  they do have some concrete residue. The crankshaft sends gritty when spun by hand.  It turns fairly freely, with little effort by hand, but it does have that typical sound of the concrete residue left in the crank bearings. This is very common to these saws,  I took pics showing some residue on the outside if the seals, but usually the saw ingests some residue over time from the top end.  The bearings feel tight still from a bearing check while trying to feel side and end play of the crank.  There is a chance these could be thoroughly rinsed and cleaned with a mineral spirits or gasoline and oiled up.  I'll leave that up to the buyer.  The center main bearing for the crank is still tight, and the crank can certainly be refitted into the case with new bearings at the very least. The seals should be replaced.  This is why I lost this as for parts or not working, it can be broken down and refurbished, or separated for a good crank and some good cases in the future, etc. or a good thorough cleaning, and there's a chance you have a good solid base to start building.   Price for the cases includes priority shipping to your destination.
