This is a 2" diameter copper pot style distilling column that will fit a sanke style beer keg connection or 2" sanitary pipe connection This column is made with copper and lead free solder. The liebig condenser arm is adjustable and can be removed for storage and shipping. The condenser arm is 1/2" diameter with a 3/4" diameter water jacket over it. The water inlet and outlet are 1/2" copper tube with a 5/8 OD and can be hooked up to a garden hose or plastic tubing. The column is 20" tall and can be used as a pot or reflux still. Due to machining the over all length of the Pipe will be +/- 1/4" This Kit is only for the flared copper column and liebig condenser, a stainless steel tri clover clamp, gum rubber stopper, and a gasket. You have to supply your own boiler that has proper safety pressure relief valves. The column fits tight without addition gaskets to a sanke keg type connection or 2" santitary pipe connection. If you need to replace the gasket they are easy to make from cork sheets, automotive gasket materials or a cardboard cutout wrapped in PTFE tape. The stopper allows for easy access for loading herbs or seeds for Oil extraction. A stainless steel or copper scrubber can be inserted at the bottom of the column as a screen to hold the material in. It also makes it easy to clean, or for adding and removing, stainless steel or copper wool for reflux. If using as a reflux and you want to use a thermometer a small hole can be drilled in the top of the stopper. This is a copper product and it can be cleaned up by using steel wool. You must clean it thoroughly before use to remove any metal or flux residue. This unit is being sold for extraction for essentials oils from herbs and flowers, and for the distillation of water. Do not use this unit for the distillation of alcohol unless you live where it is legal to do so. Buyer assumes all responsibilities. This column is not be connected directly to any keg or boiler that has not been properly converted and equipped with proper safety pressure relief valves
