Product description Neurodyn Aussie Sport Neurodyn Aussie Sport is muscle stimulator device for applying electrical current via electrodes in direct contact with the patient. All the information related to the parameters selected by the physiotherapist will be shown in the alphanumeric liquid crystal display. Neurodyn Aussie Sport muscle stimulator produces AUSSIE CURRENT (also called Australian Current), a “new generation” of electrical current for stimulation with some advantages on the traditional methods of stimulation (Russian, Interferential, TENS e FES). Options and stimulation modes There are four output channels with independent intensity controls which permit or not simultaneous stimulation of four different areas during a treatment section. Aussie current is a kind of sinusoidal current with carrier frequency of either 1.000Hz or 4.000Hz with burst duration of 4 ms or 2 ms, modulated in pulse trains (bursts) of variable frequency ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The stimulation can be provided in the following ways: Continuous Mode in which the sensation of stimulation is continuous and constant. Synchronized Mode (with ON, OFF, Rise and Decay ramps) in which the four channels operate at the same time, that is, synchronized. The sensation of stimulation is according to the time chosen in the ramps. Reciprocal Mode (with ON, OFF, Rise and Decay ramps) in which channels 1 and 3 operate alternately with channels 2 and 4. The sensation of stimulation follows the selected time chosen on the ramps. Pre- programmed protocols are available.
