The pages are blue leafed and yellowed. This work was designed to assist the electrician test batteries and consists of three parts. "Storage-battery testing" discusses the different testing devices, types of tests that can be conducted and where to locate trouble shooting. "Storage-battery shop operations" explores lead burning & molding, rules & regulations for lead burning, burns on cell connections and terminals, burn plates to strap & post, welding flame work, new batteries, electrolyte preparation, treatment of fully charged batteries, dry shipping batteries, and battery use. The final section, "charging storage batteries", looks at charging equipment, constant current-charges, motor generators, potential charges, rectifiers, battery design, operations, and battery trouble shooting guide. There are many diagrams and drawings to help illustrate the text. This work is in excellent-good overall condition and would be a nice resource for any electrician.
