This is a Student Pack Box of One Dozen 22 x 22 MM Glass Slide Covers, made by Hamilton Bell CO. Inc., Montvale, NJ. I found the following information about the company: "Hamilton Bell has been in business since 1948 offering quality products and services. We are a leading supplier of bench top centrifuges for use in laboratories and physician’s offices. We also manufacture and distribute biology, chemistry, and medical supplies." The box contains 12 slides, each in an individual plastic box with a protective piece of red foam. The box label can be seen in the photo as well as the original pre-barcode $3.50 retail price sticker on top. From the appearance of the label I think the slides may be circa 1950s but I do not know the age for sure. As you can see from one example, each slide also has a "Michael's" sticker on the bottom. I think it is likely that these plastic cases do NOT relate to Michaels Arts & Crafts Stores for two reasons: 1) The sticker has an 's and every reference I found to Michaels stores does not have a apostrophe 2) I think these slides predate the existence of Michaels Stores. The photos are closeups; the size relative to a US dime is shown in the photo of the reserve. The coin is 1 1/8" in diameter. Condition I only spot checked the slides; I did not examine every one. My assumption is that they are present and in unused, new condition, and we will guarantee your satisfaction in that regard. The only issue I noted was a portion of the red foam missing in one box.
