This listing is for a complete stump grinder kit that you can assemble and install on your excavaor, skid steer loader, front-end loader, tractor or backhoe. It includes a heavy angle mount which bolts to your machine. It will have five foot long hydraulic hoses with a male and female flat face connector for the ends. The wheel that I am including with this stump grinder kit is made from 5/8 inch thick steel, 18-1/2 inches in diameter. The stump grinder teeth are recessed and reach out 1/2 inch beyond the edge of the wheel, so from tooth tip to tooth tip it will measure 19-1/2 inches in diameter. This wheel will be drilled to handle teeth in 6 positions around the edge. Included are 6 Rayco teeth, Grade 8 fine thread cap screws and mounting hardware. An Allen wrench will be included to change the teeth. It only has 15 horsepower and 10 gpm of hydraulic flow. A more rigid mount on a skid steer loader would work much better, but I have been able to get the rpm up and cut with this machine. If you have more solid mount and more power, this unit will work well for you. I have recessed the teeth on the newest kits I am making to work better with lower horsepower machines to keep from taking too large of a bite into the stump and stopping the wheel. It helps to manage the cutting progress of the teeth and keep the power needs down a little. A high horsepower machine will work well with this wheel as it will spin and cut at the maximum rate and the mounting disc will not reach the stump as material is cut away. It is a little expensive but the USPS provides tracking and you can see when the boxes move in and out of customs and are ready to pick up.
