PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Zwaluw Hybrifix Super 7® is an alround durable elastic adhesive/sealant based on MS Polymer with an excellent adhesion to most surfaces without the use of a primer. Odorless. Paintable with suitable paints. UV, water, moisture, weather and mildew resistant. APPLICATION As an elastic adhesive in many industrial and architectural adhesive applications. As an adhesive for PS, PU insulation material, mirrors, natural stone, wooden and plastic clippings and aluminium strips which must absorb vibrations. For sealing of joints in sanitary rooms, connection joints in the building industry, glazing joints, and joints in coach-work and container constructions. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Packaging: 9.8 oz (290ml) cartridge Shelf life: In original, unopened packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C, 9 months. Color: Clear Product description Zwaluw Hybrifix® is a high quality, strong one component adhesive/sealant base on MS polymer. The product is odorless, neutral and free of isocyanates. After application the Zwaluw Hybrifix® cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable rubber seal. Applications 1. Gluing of panels, skirting boards, windowsills, stripes, thresholds, mirrors and isolating materials. 2. Sealing in safety glazing systems inside. 3. Connecting joints in buildings. 4. For kitchens and bathrooms. 5. In coach-work and metal connecting joints. 6. Sealing and gluing in shipbuilding industry. 7. Universal filler for cracks and uneven surfaces. In general Zwaluw Hybrifix® may be used also without primer to seal assemblies of glass, glazed surfaces, porcelain coated metal, epoxy and polyester panels, polystyrene, polystyrene foam, u PVC, stainless steel, anodized aluminium and finished wood. For porous surfaces like concrete we recommend to use a primer. Limitations Among others not recommended for application on PE, PP, Teflon and bituminous surfaces, underwater application and for expansion joints. Not paintable with alkyd resin paint. Yellowing can occur in the dark. Surface preparation and finishing Surfaces must be clean, dry and sound. If necessary use a primer. See primer Selection Guide and TB 02-95. Adhesion tests prior to the application are recommended. Finish with Zwaluw Finisher. See TB 03-95. Apply as an adhesive in a ‘ventilating’ way in vertical stripes with 30cm distance in between. The use of two sided adhesive tape, 3mm thick is recommended to support the adhesion during the first 24 hours and to make sure that the thickness of the adhesive is right.
