Dimensions: 124.6mm x 142.2mm x 10.4mm (4.9" x 5.6" x 0.4"). The Super Jewel Box (SJB) Standard Single Olde Hinge was developed to replace the more than 20-year-old original CD Jewel Case. SJB Standard has the same outside measurements as the original jewel case and is therefore compatible with existing retail shelving, displays and other jewel case storage and handling requirements. Super Jewel Box offers many improvements to the old CD jewel case, such as... • visibility of graphics on all four spines • rounded corners, stronger hinges, increased durability • unique locking clasp for disc protection • new and improved look and feel for higher perceived value • same size as the old CD jewel case • flexibility of inserts, from a single sheet to a 50-page booklet • fits existing CD-based retail displays, security keepers and other packaging standards • can be automated on high-speed packaging machines The Old Hinge differs from the New Hinge, in that the two corner, rounded hinges of the Old Hinge case are a bit smaller. Therefore, inlay artwork already designed for the New Hinge will NOT fit exactly in the Old Hinge case.
