This is an SMD 0805 LED breakout board. If you've ever worked with a breadboard you've probably had a bunch of 3mm or 5mm LEDs and resistors sticking up out of the board. You can replace all that chaos with this simple device. I made it, I use it, I think it's cool. I can do solid colors instead of multicolor if you prefer. 1K resistors on the back, and a single connection to the ground plane just make breadboarding easier. The header pins are included but not attached to prevent them from being bent during shipping; if you need them attached, choose the two-buck shipping, send me a note, and I'll solder them on and stick them in some cardboard. It's also a nice demo for the SMD 0805 LEDs I have available in other listings. Check out my 0805 surface mount LED sample pack, with various colors for you to try out. I also have 0805 1K resistors on tape.
