C.L. Berger Surveying Transit  It includes the original hard shell carrying case and is foam lined to contour with the unit, and a field carrying bag. I obtained it from a major aircraft manufacturer/military contractor. It is part of an entire system used for compass calibration of aircraft. never used it. It was built by C. L. Berger for Honeywell Avionics. The lens focuses in well. It measures approximately 14 1/2" inches tall and the lens length is 10 1/2 ". The storage box measures 19 x 12 x 8 1/4 inches. It will be shipped in a slightly larger box. The base will require adjusting as well as all other leveling features on the unit.   It was slightly modified from a survey compass for Honeywell to have electrical contact points. The bottom connector can be removed and a small metal plate can be put in and a centerhole drilled in it for a plumb bob.  I am selling it "as is" with no warranty written, expressed, or implied. Shipping cost is for the Continental United States.   Final shipping weight is estimated  only and  covers mark up from a pack and ship store. I live in a rural area where there is no UPS Store. If estimated shipping cost is over or above actual  shipping cost I will reimburse the buyers paypal account for the difference. Thanks for looking.
