At auction is this superb surveyor's rod.  It comes in 3 pieces that slide together.  When fully extended, the overall length is 14 feet.   When collapsed, the overall length is 66 inches.  I do not find a manufacturer's name or any other nomenclature on the item.  Made of hard wood and sturdy hardware to hold it together.  Photos 7, 8 and 9 show the sides and the rear of this item.  Large numbers and clear graduations.  This item is previously owned and has very slight usage, but for all intents and purpose it is unused.  I found it in a warehouse, the contents of which were being sold as estate items.
