Systagenix Adaptic Non-Adhering Dressing 24 pk 3in x 8in New Sealed Wound #2015 Description Information as Provided by the Manufacturer, Systagenix: Systagenix Adaptic Non-Adhering Dressing Systagenix Adaptic Non-Adhering Dressing is a primary dressing made of knitted cellulose acetate fabric and impregnated with a specially formulated petrolatum emulsion. It is designed to help protect the wound while preventing the dressing from adhering to the wound and to minimize pain and trauma upon removal. It can be cut to wound size without unravelling or shredding. Ideal for most draining wounds. Coated with a petrolatum emulsion to prevent dressing adherence while allowing exudate to easily pass through the absorbent layer. Sterile. Features: Expiration date: 2019 - 2020 Ref: 2015 Adaptic Non-Adhering Silicone Dressing - flexible, open-mesh primary wound contact layer comprised of cellulose acetate coated with a soft tack silicone. The soft tack silicone assists dressing application, prevents adherence of the secondary dressing to the wound and is atraumatic to the wound and surrounding skin. The open mesh structure allows free passage of exudate in to an absorbent secondary dressing. Adaptic Non-Adhering Silicone Dressing helps protect the wound while minimizing patient pain and trauma on removal and at dressing change. Flexible - Atraumatic to the wound and surrounding skin.
