This detection method is combine with an efficient housing design, samples air through the duct that allows detection of a developing hazardous condition. When sufficient smoke is sense, an alarm signal is initiate at panel; and appropriate action is taken to shut off fans, blowers, etc. These actions can facilitate the management of toxic smoke and fire gases throughout the areas served by the duct system. For this reason incorporates a sensor cover tamper that provides a trouble signal at the panel if the cover is remove. Not only that but the proper installation of the sensor cover removes the trouble condition The System Sensor DNR Duct Smoke Detector provides a remote alarm output for use with auxiliary devices. Also, an adjustable design square and rectangular installation ductwork, and utilizes tool-free, plug-in sampling tubes for flexibility installation. In addition, duct smoke detectors have specific limitations.
