This auction is for a 64 port LX2500 capable of up to 2.5Gb/sec non blocking crossbar transfers.  Includes SFPs as shown. Systran Corporation, a developer of high-bandwidth Fibre Channel and Serial FPDP (VITA 17.1) data communications products, introduced the LinkXchange LX2500 Crossbar Switch. The LX2500 is the next generation in low-latency crossbar switching devices designed to complement Systran's FibreXpress and FibreXtreme product lines as well as Fibre Channel devices from other manufacturers. The LinkXchange LX2500 is a multipurpose, non-blocking 32-port switch for digital signals at speeds up to 2.5 Gb/sec. Any of its 32 output ports can be connected to any one of its 32 input ports. It is completely transparent to the signal being switched because the protocol or structure of the data signal is unaltered as it travels through the switch. The LX2500 is a modular switching device. Port count and type are dependent on hot-swappable port cards that are mounted into the LX2500 base unit. Each port card includes four input-output pairs and provides the signal conditioning and media conversion for the signal to be switched. Port cards are currently available for 1.0625 Gbps Fibre Channel and Serial FPDP, 2.125 Gbps Fibre Channel, and 2.5 Gbps Serial FPDP signals. A variety of topologies can be used with simultaneous support for multiple point-to-point, loop, and multicast communication links. All LinkXchange switches have built-in electronic patch panel capabilities that enable simple, point-and-click network configuration. In test environments, this results in faster network reconfiguration, reduced downtime, improved support of network analyzers, and better overall system control. When employed in operational systems, LinkXchange switches provide signal rerouting, fault isolation, and even signal replication with virtually no impact on overall system performance. The LX2500 features web browser-based out-of-band control via its built-in Ethernet port. Any user on the connected network can create, modify and store configurations and can monitor important operating characteristics of the switch. A command-line interface can also be used with the Ethernet port (via Telnet) or with the LX2500's RS-232 port. No additional software required. Comes with SFP's as pictured. 14 day DOA purchase money back warranty. MA Residents include 6.25% sales tax.
