Here's what they call a "smokejumpers belt" well, I'm a Hotshot and I made this so I'm calling it a Hotshot belt. I've seen more Hotshots wearing it anyways. Anyways , about the belt: Milspec 6,000lb tensile strength webbing (YES, It isn't some shitty seatbelt nylon they sell at outdoor shops!) and a parachute harness ring, put together with a box stitch and heavy poly thread. Ok, so maybe don't rappel out of a helicopter with it.. But it works perfectly for cutting those 2 more chains of line.. Sure your Hotshot/Engine/helitack/whoever else is wearing a buckle these days looks cool, but it's not cool when you've sweat through all your clothes and leather belt and you can barely keep your pants up.. This bad boy WILL keep your pants up. I will guarantee that! This bad chicken is Made in the USA by a Forestry Technician for other Forestry Technicians and other various bad asses that need to keep their pants up while they embrace the suck.  Belts are 50" and can be cut down to size. You can use scissors to cut it and a lighter to burn the end so it doesn't fray.. Or you could use a 660 and a fusee. Whatever works. Thanks for looking.
