The AT-D39R is an "Answer Only" system which automatically answers incoming calls, plays an outgoing annoucement, and then disconnects. However, when one or more Takacom model VR-200 Dual-Cassette Recorders (optional) are connected to the AT-D39R, incoming messages from callers can also be recorded.
