Being offered is this custom machined, Take Up Shaft Holder/Reciever/Pocket that will FIT Scitex FB 500's and FB700's and the newer FB550's, FB750's and FB950's. THE FIRST PICTURE SHOWS TYPICAL PART FAILURE SECOND PICTURE SHOWS CLOSE UP VIEW THE FACE OF THE AXEL (that you will recieve). THIRD PICTURE SHOWS NEW AXEL INSTALED PLACE FOURTH PICTURE SHOWS A WIDER VIEW OF THE MACHINE, FOR LOCATION REFERNCE. AND THE LAST PICTURE SHOWS AN UNDAMAGED SHAFT END - NOT INCLUDED (shown for reference) As anyone who has worked on these machines knows; over time, this take up shaft holder will wear from its repetitive motion, and round out (like second picture) so the take up shaft no longer works properly. Furthermore; up until now, this piece has not been available, and when this type of error occurs you have been forced to purchase a whole take up assembly for around $5000.00. Recognizing the cost savings , I had several of these axels made, and I am keeping what need for my personal use, and selling the off the excess. Why replace the whole assembly?? Replace the axel at less than a 10th of the cost. That is what I did; and it works! With purchase; I will provide detailed instruction on how to gain access to the shaft for removal. Also make sure the end of the take up shaft is square and not NOT Damaged (see Last Picture, which shows a square shaft end-NOT INCLUDED) SOLD AS IS. NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS. Through the EBay Message System; I will send the buyer of a picture of the USPS reciept, the moment the US Post Office is in possesion of your package. Furthermore; the USPS website also states that their "Priority Express shipping" is not available to all regions. If this should happen, standard USPS Priority International will become the means/method used (6-10 day delivery and "this is based upon average performance to major markets, and the actual transit time may vary for origin and destination") and any shipping overpayment will be refunded. It should be noted that the times listed above were taken directly from the carriers respective website, and they (or I) have no control over customs, so times may obviously vary.
