This Ebay listing is for ONE Tamarack Scientific 3 Axis Laser Ablation Positioning Stage, This stage consists of two separate part numbers, p/n NE-PR-HP-90-AL-HC and p/n RS-0202-PMD-040. This stage came from the laser drill system at an insulin inhaler facility we bought 4 years ago. This stage was removed from the "left over" bits of the system. The laser itself was returned to Coherent for future credit and we were left with the enclosure and everything else. This was mounted on a larger assembly and on the top of this stage was the carrier that guided the continuous feed of spooled web material that was being drilled. A 62mm wide web was guided under the laser where the material was drilled. What this did was it created the nozzles which the insulin was passed through.... Atomizing it to be inhaled through their very complicated inhaler device. The entire facility was shut down prior to going into production. We bought the entire campus and carefully preserved every single piece of equipment down to the smallest of sensors. This piece has sat in a box since we parted it out. The system it was removed from was brand new and had just passed all qualifications and was turn-key for full production.... This stage has maybe 80 hours total use. It consists of an X and Y stage with a rotation stage on the bottom. The rotation stage only has about 25 degree's of twist to it. It's very clean with ZERO damage. Superficial surface rust on a few small spots but they would vanish with a quick rub of some fine steel wool. It comes as shown with no cables or accessories.
