The TAS 3508A Modem Test Switch (MTS) is designed to simplify and streamline automatic testing of modems, DDS sets, ISDN terminal adaptors, and other data communications equipment. The MTS allows one of nine modems to be switched to a common port under IEEE-488, RS-232, or front panel control. The MTS switches 24 of 25 RS-232 data signals, and switches eight line (telco)signals. Each port includes a standard RS-232 connector for line signals and an RJ45 connector for line signals. Allows one of nine modems to be switched to a common test port, under IEEE 488-RS232, or front panel control. This unit was a part a Large Company that Downsized.
