Up for auction is a Chris Andersen action figure in the uniform of his NBA professional basketball team, the Miami Heat. Andersen is known for brightly colored tattoos on his arms, chest, neck, back, hands and legs. Andersen's regular tattoo artist, Denver-based John Slaughter, estimates he has inked 75 percent of his body. Andersen gained some fame when he showed off those tattoos in PETA's "Ink Not Mink" ad campaign to protest the fur industry. The figure is made by McFarlane (Series 26, copyright 2015). The sculpted basketball figure up for auction is mint and has never been removed from its clear, clamshell case. Four photos are provided from the manufacture's website so you can see what he would look like out of his protective case. The figure boasts authentic detailing and comes posed. The figure has an included base allowing you to proudly display the figure in your home or office removed from its protective clamshell holder. You may also choose to exhibit the figure without removing it from its clear case. The figure and its base, when removed from its packaging and assembled, would stand approximately 9 to 10 inches tall. The figures are made of a hard resin substance that makes them nearly unbreakable . . . a nice feature when displaying the figure in busy work environments or in areas where young children are active.
