t-glase is a high quality Polyethylene terephthalate (PETT) polymer which is FDA approved for direct food and drink contact. The major advantage of t-glase compared to all other polymers is layer to layer bonding. Because the polymer bonds so well, there is no need to smash a large number of layers together to accommodate a good bond. Layer heights that are 70% to 100% of the nozzle diameter can be used with excellent results. Due to its chemical make-up, light transitions easily along the path of a printed thread. This allows the designer to draw and print a light-pipe with any path required. t-glase produces no fumes, has a very low shrinkage factor and is best printed on heated acrylic or glass print beds. Recommended printing temperature: 220C - 230C. Print bed temperature: 50C - 80C Made in the USA Available in 1.75mm diameter 1 pound of clear filament comes on a spool, individually wrapped in a 2 mill bag with a 2oz desiccant pouch.
