This ice cream machine works very well with one minor problem, the handle on the chocolate side must be activated to start the freeze process, in other words if the machine sits idle in the auto position the vanilla side will keep freezing automatically but the chocolate side will not unless the handle is hit and then it will freeze, so if youre serving ice cream consistently you have no problem, both sides stay frozen , this all leads me to believe its just a thermostat on the chocolate side or a swith or something, I sincerely believe it will not take much to fix this but please consult a technician as I know nothing in this category except the machine works well and makes good ice cream, chicolate, vanilla and twist!
