This item is a TB 300 Thermal Binding Machine that comes with a photobook/scrapbook starter kit. About Thermal Binding: Thermal binding is the desktop version of the perfect binding of hard cover and soft cover books. Instead of a complicated perfect binding system involving a long line of conveyors and processes that ultimately use a hot melt adhesive to fix the pages into a book cover, thermal binding offers empty covers that have the adhesive pre-applied. One simply picks a cover with the correct spine width, drop in the appropriate number of pages, and then puts the cover in a toaster-sized thermal binding machine. A minute or two later you’ll have a bound book. About the TB 300 Thermal Binding Machine: The TB300 was designed for ease of use. It is a medium duty machine for office or home. It has a very fast warm-up time followed by a single 80 second time cycle. It’s ideal for someone who needs to quickly bind a few reports or photobooks in a short amount of time. It can bind up to a 24mm soft cover or an 18mm hard cover. The TB300 can bind 200 1/8" reports in about an hour so it's still adequate for the occasional big job. "As is", it will work with all thermal covers except Unibind. A thermal adapter is available that will lower the temperature so this machine can work with all Unibind hard and soft covers. The TB300 comes with a 2 Year free repair or replacement warranty. (Pay only for shipping.) About the Photobook / Scrapbook Starter Kit: Photobook / Scrapbook Starter Kit 1 – 8.5” x 11” landscape hardcover leatherette photobook w/ 4” x 6” windows. Photobook contains front & back fly sheets. 16 – sheets of 8.5” x 11” landscape photo paper. 4 – 7” x 5” portrait photobook greeting cards w/ 3” x 4 3/4 ” windows 4 – 7” x 5” envelopes 24 – sheets of 7” x 5” portrait photo paper. 4 – 6” x 4” landscape photobook greeting cards w/ 4” x 2 1/4 ” windows 50 – sheets of 6” x 4” landscape photo paper. This Kit is comprised of 8 soft cover photobooks and 1 hard cover photobook. The kit also includes photo paper for all of the covers, plus four envelopes for the “greeting card” style 5” x 7” soft covers. The hard cover photobook includes front & back fly sheets, giving it a professional look.
