It is made to last up to 7 years, based on a 4 hour use per day. This product lasts 10-13 times longer than all other similar incandescent. Because of the longer life of the lamp you can replace it less often, and it's ideal for hard to reach places. This makes it lower maintenance and has a lower labor cost for the lamp replacements.
