YOU WILL RECEIVE A USED TE TECHNOLOGY MODEL AC-027 PeltierThermoelectric Cooler SOME DETAILS Air coolers, sometimes called air-to-air heat exchangers, are the best choice for cooling electrical enclosures and refrigerated cabinets containing objects that can not be easily cooled by direct contact to a cold plate. There may be irregularly shaped components, parts that need freedom to move, or objects that do not have any one good surface from which to remove heat. While not as efficient as the direct contact of a cold plate, air coolers are ideal in these cases because the cooled air adapts to any and all shapes within the cabinet. Air coolers also provide one location - the cold sink - where condensation forms. This usually keeps condensation from forming on the objects being cooled. Air coolers made primarily for cooling outdoor electronics cabinets feature terminal blocks on the cold sink (internal fins), a sealed external fan, anodized heat sink, and corrosion protection on the cold sink. • Removes 24 W from an enclosure while maintaining internal temperature at ambient temperature, or can remove up to 6 W at 35°C below ambient. • Compact, extruded heat sink and cold sink for high performance at low cost. • Low maintenance with no moving parts, except the fans. • Operates in any position with minimum noise and vibration. • CE Marked and RoHS compliant. This is our smallest air cooler. It is powered by 12 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. Like all of our air coolers, it incorporates extender blocks between the thermoelectric module and the cold sink. These enable the cooler to have un-impeded airflow on the cold side while still allowing for up to 25 mm thick insulation in the walls of the enclosure. Plus, it also improves performance at high temperature differences. This cooler has the lowest power consumption of any of our standard air coolers making it compatible with all of our temperature controllers. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It uses two large thermoelectric modules and a high-density bonded-fin heat sink that provide excellent performance in a compact footprint. THE MANUAL IS AVL. ON LINE AT TETECH.COM.
