Tecan M8/2R Columbus Plus Microplate Washer PARTS For sale- PARTS pulled from a Tecan M8/2R Columbus Plus Microplate Washer. It was a Columbus version 3.23, part number F109201 if that makes any sense. The washer came with a Tecan Genesis Workstation 150 liquid handler which was said by the agency that surplused it to be in working condition. So presumably the washer was as well. Then I sold the thing and the buyer acted like I was trying to pull the crime of the century when it turned out that the fluid pump was locked up and it wouldn’t work. So he shipped it back partially disassembled and very poorly packed (thank you very much). So I finished pulling it apart and now am willing to accept offers for the various parts, some such as the power supply and display that obviously work, some such as the main board and a couple of stepper motors that probably work, and a variety of other pieces which I have no idea regarding. So if you have a Tecan M8/2R Columbus Plus Microplate Washer with personal problems I may have your solution. First picture shows the washer as it was before the buyer decided I was trying to flim flam him. Display worked then, still works now, and I am still able to poke around in the menus or I was before I took it apart completely. The steel chassis has been scrapped, but mostly everything else I pulled out of it. Even the pump assembly as for all I know the stepper motor mounted to that might still work. The outer case with the display still installed now has a nice crack in the lower right front corner thanks to the totally inadequate return packaging. I assume the display could be removed without destroying it but I will leave that up to you. The piece in the last picture, which I guess is the liquid injectors, has been sold. Beyond what you see in the pictures and what I have described it is untested and NO warranty is offered. However, IF whatever it is that you buy has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Returns would not be allowed on international sales. Just so that we are clear on that, these are items that have not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk, limited to the shipping costs both ways. Power supply is a Mean Well PS-65-R just in case that can work in something else as well. If you are willing to pay the Buy It Now price you can have all of the parts I have salvaged. If you only want a piece or two then please submit an offer stating EXACTLY what you do want. Ebay (in their infinite wisdom) forces me to include a “Handling Time” in the listing which they then factor into the delivery time. As a default I use 5 days to allow for the worst case scenario, which would be that I am out of town when you buy and then can’t find the item when I get home. In most cases I ship the next business day after payment is made, and sometimes things even go out the same day. I’m just not willing to commit to that timeframe for every transaction
