The impact sockets feature flank-drive socket design, which contacts only flat surfaces of fastener head to eliminate rounding off corners. Sockets are constructed from drop forged, heat-treated chrome vanadium steel with a corrosion-resistant black phosphate finish. Hole on socket securely locks onto drive tang.
