The provided binary EPROM images should be burned with a zero offset, and placed in the low portion of the 27256. The Tektronix 1240/1241 Logic Analyzer ROM Pack is now available in very good condition and offers support for a wide variety of microprocessors. Despite this, the pack still functions perfectly for its intended purpose. Get your hands on the Tektronix 1240/1241 Logic Analyzer ROM Pack and choose the microprocessor support you need! Signal maps (channel to microprocessor connection list) are available if applicable. The ROM pack can be customized to support any single microprocessor shown in the following table. Note that support software for microprocessors requiring a PM200 preprocessor probe will be useless without the probe. The pack may have some cosmetic damage such as ink writing or partial remains of a label. The ROM images available for the pack are typically 8k bytes in size, except for the ones highlighted in light blue that require 27256s. The buyer will have the option to download the necessary files or have them emailed directly. It should be noted that one of the four screws that hold the pack shell halves together may be missing, but this doesn't affect the performance of the pack. It's important to note that buyers must have the ability to program (burn) either 27128 or 27256 EPROMs if they want to alter the ROM pack. To upgrade to a 27256 EPROM, the square pin jumpers for J500 and J600 must be set to short pin 1 to pin 2, disabling the upper address ranges of the 27256 and forcing the 1240 to check the proper address for the ROM checksum.
