Quantity one, Tektronix (Tek) 12RS12 32k EPROM Pack for 1240/1241 Logic Analyzers. The pack has minor cosmetic flaws. The 12RS12 contains four Motorola 68764C 8k X 8 EPROMS. The 12RD01 Diagnostic ROM Pack for the 1240/1241 also contains four 68764C EPROMS. If you purchase one of the 12RS12 packs I will provide copies of the binary EPROM images for the 12RD01 Diagnostic ROM Pack. With those files you can turn your 12RS12 into a 12RD01. I will provide a link where you can download the diagnostic EPROM files. It should go without saying that you must have the capability of programming (burning) 68764C EPROMs if you want to build your own Diagnostic ROM pack. Use the EPROM component locator diagram (shown in the auction pictures) to figure out where to install the EPROMs. With a Diagnostic ROM pack you will have access to an extensive suite of diagnostic tests for the 1240 or 1241. These tests are far more detailed and extensive then those conducted by the power-on diagnostics. Combined with the 1240/41 Service Manual you will have a much easier time of identifying the nature of any malfunctions and in finding the root cause of the fault. When I was a Tektronix service technician doing component level repairs of 1240's I found the 12RD01 Diagnostic ROM pack to be an essential tool.
