Thank you for your interest in this Tektronix 1502C Metallic Cable Tester TDR - With SP232 RS232 Interface + Cables This piece of equipment was removed in good working condition (other than a dead battery and weak backlight) from a lab that recently sold off some assets While we lack the proper equipment to fully test this Metallic Cable Tester, we did run every self test on this instrument and everything passed Please note that the internal Lead Acid Battery has reached the end of its useful life and will need to be replaced - We ran the unit on AC power without any issues, however, the 1502C will NOT currently run on battery power We also noticed that the backlight on the screen is quite dim / doesn't illuminate the screen very well - We are unsure if this is a setting or if the backlight may need to be serviced in the future. The instrument has a Tektronix SP232 RS232 Interface card installed  Feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to get back to you promptly
