Retired studio engineer keeping busy doing repairs & STILL cleaning out the garage.. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING Only with E bay global shipping program. General description: Tektronix 222A Digital storage scope 1) USED, needs some attention & parts to be 100%.Brightness is good, focus is just a TAD soft.. but it was always that way for me. All storage functions appear to work. 2) The batteries are STONE DEAD and removed it used 2) Panasonic LCS-214P ( 4 volt 2.1 AH ) in series for a total of 8 volts 3) This was tested with an external DC supply 8 volts. This was done via the battery connection point, I ASSUME the charging circuit still works BUT I cannot prove it 4) The inputs both work.. BUT the input jacks might need re soldered on the board Channel 1 you need to apply SLIGHT upward pressure to work. 5) I have 1 input cable , with a very poor Female BNC " adaptor " splice. but functional. The 5 minute auto off function still works ( this was to save batteries and annoying ). 6) I am not sure where the battery cover , probe bag, and external supply got off to.. I'll look but not hopeful and considered not included. 7) There is a guy on E bay who sell's a " battery mod " to use more conventional batteries. It takes some tech skills to make ti happen. 311230707812 8) There is also a 222 for sale on E bay ( different seller ) that would have more of the parts you would need. And time has taken it's normal toll This was my personal scope and quite the workhorse, but it's been in the closet for a LONG TIME. I do have pets, and I AM a smoker… so if any of that is a problem, take that into consideration. No local pick up. I ship FAST ( once payment clears ) and provide tracking & insurance. The shipping is INCORRECT and will be MUCH less, but I got into a issue with a difficult buyer so it is VERY ELEVATED. The shipping calculator is broke so whatever it cost's to ship send my your address & I'll get a quote BEFORE YOU PAY. It will cost YOU to ship it.. I don't make any money on shipping, I just pass on the costs and it will be what it will be.
