Included: Tektronix 11302A Counter / Timer / Oscilloscope Three 11A71 500MHz BW Plugins Tektronix 11300A Series Specifications Sheet Tektronix 11300 Series Incoming Inspection Manual Power Cord NOT Included: Tektronix DSA602A Oscilloscope is NOT INCLUDED in this sale Rigol DG4062 Arb Waveform Generator is NOT INCLUDED in this sale 50 ohm coax cables are NOT INCLUDED in this sale Condition: Overall:  This 11302A oscilloscope and plug-in amplifiers are in Very Good condition and all items PASS Self Diagnostics Test, Extended Diagnostic Tests and Enhanced Accuracy Self-Calibration runs.  The pictures are of actual test demonstration and show reasonably accurate display and measurement of sample waveforms provided using non-certified reference instruments.  This functional demonstration testing is NOT equivalent to a certified instrument calibration.  Therefore, I do NOT have the facilities, procedures, test equipment and reference standards to determine if these instruments are completely within their respective Manufacturer published performance Specifications and Tolerances.  Though the 11302A scope with included 11A71 plugins appears to measure and display waveforms with accuracy similar to my DSA602A used to measure the same waveforms.  The items are USED and thus have some wear and normal signs of age and use.  Please refer to the photos of the items to judge for yourself.  Photos are of the actual Oscilloscope and Plug-In amplifiers being sold. Functional Testing: The 11302A scope AND all three included plug-ins PASS ALL self-diagnostics testing and enhanced accuracy testing.  Furthermore, the output from the Rigol DG4062 waveform generator (NOT INCLUDED) is accurately measured by this Tektronix 11302A scope.  These measurements are further validated by the Tektronix DSA602A reference Oscope (NOT INCLUDED). The 11302A was set to Loop until Fault detected in Extended Diagnostics Test Mode with the three 11A71 plug-in amplifiers installed.  The test repeated for well over 30minutes and was manually stopped (by me) after 51 tests.  All 51 tests PASSED all Extended Diagnostics and NO faults were detected during any of the 51 consecutive test loops.  Several Self Tests were performed and all passed.  Several Enhanced Accuracy runs of the 11302A were performed (Self-Calibration) which all PASSED and completed satisfactorily. The three included 11A71 plugin amplifiers were then installed into the DSA602A and were tested for 50 loops in Extended Diagnostics of the DSA602A (more rigorous testing than the 11302A) and all Extended Diagnostics PASSED for all 50 tests.  Enhanced Accuracy was performed with the three included 11A71 plugins in the DSA602A and Enhanced Accuracy completed and PASSED with these plugins. The 11302A Calibrator output was set to 5Vpp 100kHz square wave which is 500mVpp into 50 ohms (0 to 500mV).  The 11302A's Calibrator output was measured by the DSA602A (NOT INCLUDED).  The DSA602A measurement statistics show the 11302A’s calibrator output is very accurate at Vpp = 501.5mV (500mV ideal), Vmean = 251.7mV (250mV ideal), Vrms = 354.1mV (353.9mV ideal), Freq = 100.0kHz (100.0kHz ideal). The Rigol DG4062 AWG (NOT INCLUDED) was set to 50ohm output Z, 500mVpp, 250mV outset, 100.0kHz square wave.  The 11302A built-in 750MHz counter indicated measured Freq =100.0000069 kHz and Period = 9.999999306 usecs at 10^6 averages.  The 11302A voltage measurements were within 10mV (within ~2% of ideal) of the DSA602A measurements of the same signal from the DG4062 AWG. Measurement Comparison: DSA602A: Vpp=498.5mV, Vmean=245.6mV, Vrms=348.4mV, Freq=100.0kHz 11302A “L1 Ch”: Vpp=494mV, Vmean=252mV, Vrms=342,mV, Freq=100.0kHz 11302A”C1 Ch”: Vpp=492mV, Vmean=255mV, Vrms=344,mV, Freq=100.0kHz With the Rigol DG4062 ch1 set as 10MHz 500mVpp sinewave and ch2 set as 1kHz 500mVpp squarewave.  These DG4062 signals were connected to “L1” and”C1” channels of 11302A.  The attached picture shows the summation waveform of “L1+C1” AC coupled.  This composite waveform is a 10MHz 500mVpp sinewave which has a 500mV step-change ONCE every 10,000 cycles and decays back to pure sinewave due to AC coupling.  This picture of the single “L1+C1” waveform illustrates the 11302A’s ability to display rare transients with significant brightness.  As shown, the 4nsec step change is very visible and is actually brighter than the nominal signal despite the transient occurring only once every 10,000 cycles. Caution:  It is strongly advised to operate the 11302A scope with all three scope plug-in slots occupied (or have blank plug-in cover installed) to ensure proper internal cooling air circulation.  Having all three plug-ins installed enhances the internal heat removal and maintains internal component temperatures to safe operating conditions.
