Offering Tektronix 7904A, Tek's improved version of the 1973-1982 made 7904 mainframe, 7904A was produced from 1982 until 1992. Cost $16000 new, but can now by yours for a tiny fraction (about 4%), making it a great bargain!. Plugins are shown for demo purposes only and are not part of this sale (available separately). Please consult me for plugins you may need/want. At BIN you get a 7904A refurbed, freshly calibrated, and guaranteed for 90 days. Since I have more than 1, photos may not be of the 1 you'll get, but rest assured it will run and look as well unless you offer less than BIN, in which case you will only get partial or no refurb, partial or no cal,... Please keep in mind even at BIN, you are only offering me $520, since ebay & paypal keep about 14% of the money you send. If you come up with a way to pay me $520 that does not cost you $593, I'll be ok with it, but you have to do a bit of detective work, which is well within the ability of a scope user. If you offer LESS than BIN on ebay, you are, in effect, saying it's ok to skip refurb, cal, & guaranty (not a good idea if you want it to work correctly). First 2 photos show a dot hatch pattern generated by a pair of calibration fixtures. It shows V & H gains are correct, centering is correct, and screen is free from geometric distortions: tilt, barrel, pincushion,... The blue CRT filter seen in 1st photo will be added only if you pay BIN price. Some photos were taken before all restoration work was completed. 3rd photo shows risetime capability of less than 700pS in each of the vertical slots. 4th photo shows right side exposed. 5th photo shows rear. 6th photo shows left side exposed. 7th photo shows closeup of deflection amplifier boards. 8th photo shows view of 4 slots. 9th photo shows intensity amplifier area. Since I had more than 1, photos may not be of serial # you will get, but all were in similar and very good condition. AVAILABLE EXTRAS (at extra cost; yes, it is possible to offer more than BIN): 7B92A Dual Timebase Plugin for for $200 refurbed+cal'd; 7A13 Differential Comparator Plugin for $200 refurbed+cal'd); 7A26 Dual Channel Vertical Plugin for $180 refurbed+cal'd; P6063B new switchable probes for $100/each; cart for $135 (costs extra to ship due to size and weight, ask). Please do not offer less than BIN. If you can't afford my refurbed 7904A, there are others on ebay that may cost less because less work and less guaranty apply. Plugins, for safety, should not travel inside mainframe, but in a separate box. Such a separate box is not part of ebay's shipping calculator, so please be prepared to pay the extra charges for a box of plugin(s). If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask... Oh, ebay's catalog assigned it 13 inch diagonal display - it is closer to 13 cm (8 X 10 cm). PLEASE NOTE: IF 500MHz isn't fast enough for your applications, I also offer the faster 7104. They look very similar (size, shape, buttons layout,...) but 7104 is 1 GHz and has IMAGE INTENSIFYING CRT (like portable 2467/B). California resident buyers pay sales tax. Too big for mailing. Ebay now has a Global Shipping Program to several foreign countries. To those countries it serves, it masks other shipping options, but you can ask... GSP bases your import tax on BIN price, but if you pay less (by making an offer for less), tax will be less (and if you don't want me to suffer a pay cut which would affect quality of my work, you can always make it up in a 2nd payment). To countries not served by GSP, there is UPS which is expensive, and FEDEX, which is about as much, unless I contact them for a better rate, which I can only do if I have your exact address (not PO Box).
