Tektronix 7M11 50 Ohm Dual Delay Line 175pSec Rise Time, GR 874 Connectors. ITEM IS LOCATED IN BELLVUE WASHINGTON AND WILL BE SHIPPED FROM THERE. FULLY TESTED IN OUR LAB 14 DAY RETURN, 90 DAY PRORATED WARRANTY The 7M11 is a passive dual delay line for use with the 7000 Series Sampling System. In low-repetition-rate applications requiring the sequential mode of operation, the 7M11 provides the trigger source and signal delay necessary to view the triggering event at fast time-per-div settings. Vertical delay for two 7S11 vertical sampling units is available with the dual 50 ohm, 75nSec delay lines. The closely matched (30 pSec) lines have GR874 input-output connectors, 175pSec risetime, and 2X signal attenuation. Trigger selection is from either input, 5X attenuated, with a risetime of 600pSec or less. In this test setup a fast rise pulse from an S-50 Pulse Generator is split into two separate pulses and applied to each delay line simultaneously. The CRT photos show the entire output pulse from each delay line and a detailed view of the rising edge and the falling edge of the pulses that emerged from the 7M11. The CRT photos were taken with the 7T11A triggered from Channel 2 of the 7M11. The 7T11A was operating in sequential mode at the time. Without the 7M11, the 7T11A would have to operate in random mode which would display considerably more horizontal jitter. Note: The combined system response of 207.9pSec consisted of the S-50 Pulse Generator (Tr = 25pSec), the 7M11 (Tr = 175pSec), the two 7S11s, and the two S-4 Sampling Heads (Tr = 25pSec). Because the 7M11 is entirely passive it requires no power. It can be used in an oscilloscope mainframe as shown in the test setup photograph or it can be used outside the oscilloscope. It doesn’t have to take up valuable space in your 7000 series oscilloscope and it can be used with any oscilloscope. This auction is for the 7M11, Serial Number B020154, only.
