Tektronix 91HSE8 2 GHz 8-Channel Acquisition Module for DAS 9100 Mainframes This may be of interest to collectors of vintage logic analysis equipment. It is a high-speed acquisition module intended for use in conjunction with the venerable DAS-9100 logic analyzer mainframes. The module consists of a housing with 8 permanently attached sampling probes (2 GHz sampling rate per channel). There is a ninth similar probe for external triggering and arming. The instrument is known as a 91HSE8, which means it was an extension module to another 91HS8 housing. The instrument also requires an acquisition interface card that occupies one of the slots of the DAS 9100 mainframe. Sadly, that card is missing. But for those with existing HS systems, this would be a great 'backup' item. It has not been tested since I never had the interface card. I have carefully inspected all of the probe sampling heads and they are in great condition. The module also includes the interface cable that connects it to the interface card. Power to the unit is governed by the DAS 9100 mainframe, so there is no way to test anything without the interface! I regret that I do not have any documentation for this device. Being unable to test I must offer this item as-is, no returns. Photo set 00211 Warranty notes - Except for the occasional rare exception, all test and measurement electronics are sold without warranty except that the equipment will be as described above. If a warranty is provided, it will be prominently proclaimed in the item description. If an item arrives not as described, it may be returned at the buyer's expense provided the following conditions are met: all instrument seals (if affixed) must remain intact instrument should be packed similarly to the way it was received buyer must request a return authorization within 5 days of instrument receipt instrument must be in the same physical condition as when it left our premises Shipping notes - Insurance is required for all purchases exceeding $50.00. Buyer will be assessed only actual shipping and insurance costs. We must be notified in a timely manner if there is any damage to items as a result of shipping. We pack instruments very well, and have never had a damage claim (though rare) denied by any carrier. As a routine, we use USPS for light and less valuable items, but strongly recommend using FedEx for heavier and costly items as their conveyor system seems to be better equipped to handle larger and heavier boxes. We do not use UPS! If size and weight permit, multiple auction lots may be combined to save on shipping costs. Handling notes - Smaller items have no handling fees associated with them. Larger items may have a modest fee to cover packing materials and time involved prepping the instrument. These fees will always be stipulated in the item description! Payment terms - After winning one of our auctions we will send you an email requesting your shipping information. Once we have that you will receive an "invoice" email with the complete billing information, as well as remit-to addresses and other pertinent information. Occasionally, emails do go astray - if you do not hear from us, do not panic! We will do our best to contact you! We request that payment be received within 10 days of the auction closing. PLEASE NOTE ! We no longer accept credit cards! PayPal is usually accepted, but there may be certain lots for which it will not be possible to use PayPal. If that is the case, it will be stipulated within the lot description. Foreign bidders - We welcome bidders from Canada and Mexico. Overseas bidders should contact us before bidding to make sure we can ship to your particular country. Bear in mind that test and measurement equipment can be very heavy, and shipping costs can be quite prohibitive. Most importantly, USPS no longer provides and International Parcel Post option! Everything must be shipped via Priority or Express Mail and it is VERY expensive - often four or five times what it used to cost to ship via Parcel Post! All export duty, taxes and attendant overseas expenses must be borne by the buyer. No returns can be accepted from overseas shipments! Thank you.
