Tektronix probe tip pull-up/pull-down adapter, set of two (the photos only show one). TEK part number 206-0252-01 This adapter slides onto the tip of a Tektronix oscilloscope probe. The probe plugs into the larger opening and a component lead can be inserted into the smaller opening of the adapter. The second photo shows a resistor inserted into the adapter with its free end sticking out. It allows connecting the probe tip to a resistor (or other component), the free end of which can be connected wherever you want. This can be used to make your probe tip load the circuit under test. It was originally developed for the Tek signature analyzer but works on many of the scope probes.
