You are bidding on a Tektronix THM565 DMM/Oscilloscope - a true RMS AutoRanging scope. It is a highly functional handheld scope/multimeter - with 5Mhz bandwidth to handle AC power, audio and more. The multimeter features: -AC and DC current and voltage Resistance measurements-Autoranging -Analog meter bar -Continuous displays of max, min, max-minus-min, held value, and delta from held value to current value -Built-in filter function which may be set to either 50 or 60 Hz to match the local line frequency -Support for current-probes of four different sensitivities (from 1 mV=1A to 1V = 1A, in "x10" steps) are supported and the readout will be scaled accordingly. The oscilloscope has two channels with 5 MHz bandwidth. Channel 1 supports either a voltage or current probe, just like the multimeter input. As the instrument is intended for low-frequency operation, ordinary multimeter-style probes (no 10x resistor) are used (which are included - see below). Math functions include addition, subtraction, and several special measurements (described below). Detecting line disturbances: The scope can monitor an AC power line for deviations from a perfect sine wave (within 3%, 12%, 21%, or 30%) and can log the date and time of each reading that is outside the specified range. Measurement of Transformer Harmonic Derating Factor (THDF): With a current probe, this function determines the first order harmonic current in a conductor and determines the percentage by which the transformer's power rating should be derated. True AC power with reactive loads: With a current probe on channel 1, and voltage on channel 2, the THM 565 can calculate true AC power. The scope displays the actual current and voltage waveforms, reads out RMS voltage and current, and integrates the products of V and I over time to derive the true power (watts) and power factor. Phase angle is automatically accounted for. Included items -THM565 DMM/Oscilloscope -Instruction manual -Reference manual -Double-sided sheet with test-lead info Four original color-coded probes: -Red with screw-on plunger clip and alligator clip -Blue with screw-on plunger clip -Black with screw-on alligator clip -Yellow with screw-on plunger clip. The plunger clip is broken (it's in two pieces in the photo) but you may be able to solder it together. The manual is in excellent condition, except for a few smudges on the cover. The unit is in excellent condition except for a couple of small scratches on the screen that are not easily photographed and don't affect the use of it. You have to hold the unit at an angle to see them, but I included a photo of the larger one (the cross-pattern below and to the left of the word 'select'. Very hard to see in photos.). The battery door is in perfect condition (see photo) - no battery leaks or modifications (uses 6 AA batteries). Everything was kept in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Happy bidding! You're getting everything except the original box!
