National Instruments (NI) Controller Area Network (CAN) Device Simulator/Demo Box, compatible power supply with threaded fastener to secure to power port on CAN Box, single-termination CAN cable, NI CAN Demo Box Reference CD (2nd photo), and copy of NI CAN Demo Box User Guide. The CAN Device Simulator connects a CAN device, an optional CAN monitor, and a DAQ device to implement a complete simulation environment to test CAN applications. The box provides digital discrete lines and a function generator to provide as information source for box generated CAN messages. It can interface with external DAQ device to extend it's capabilities. The menu buttons provide front panel control of CAN operation and function generator. NI CAN Demo Box Assy # 189159C-01, same as shown in photos. Only the CAN Demo box, single-termination cable, power supply/cord and User Guide are included as shown and described. The device has been tested to ensure proper operation, all controls, display, connectors are in excellent working condition. The NI CAN Device Simulator has a function generator; one CAN interface; one CAN monitor connector; a 68-pin DAQ connector; access to the DAQ interface TRIG1, TRIG2, and FREQOUT pins; and digital input switches.
