National Instruments CardBus-PXI 8310 StarFabric Interface hardware kit, fully tested, same items shown. The interface kit is fully tested with the CardBus 8310 installed in XP Pro laptop using the provided cables, connecting to the PXI-8310 in a loaded PXI-1042 chassis, communications were as expected, was able to receive DAQ data streams from chassis and display on laptop without issue or errors. Compatibility with newer operating systems than XP is not guaranteed. Please check compatibility with your application hardware and software prior to purchase. Note that according to NI user manual, the Cat5e interface cables should have ferrites, however those provided in this listing do not have them- the ferrites may be required in some applications or usage environments for reliable operation, as it could become source of intermittent or constant transmission errors- this kit was tested in a lab environment and worked without issue as is provided. Includes a CardBus-8310, PXI-8310, Set of Tx and Rx paired cables, all as shown. The StarFabric hardware is previously used, and has been tested to be fully functional. All hardware items tested together using a XP Professional laptop as host PC with CardBus-8310 installed, and and a PXI-1042 chassis with various DAQ/digital modules installed- laptop was able to control, monitor and log data from the PXI system.
