Fully tested National Instruments (NI) PCI-8430/16 board, 16-port RS232 interface for PCI. The board testing included passing all NI Serial troubleshooting self-tests for board and all ports, and an external loopback test of each port which included control/handshake lines. This listing is for board (PN 191886B-01L), two new SH68-8DB9 cable sets (PN 197545A-01), and NI-Serial software version 14.0 (supports Windows 8/7/Vista/XP 32-bit/LabVIEW RT), which comprise a complete PCI-8430/16 kit. All items are same as shown in photos. From NI- The National Instruments PCI-8430/16 is a high-performance, 16-port serial interface for high-speed communication with RS232 devices at rates of up to 1,000 kb/s. The NI PCI-8430/16 offers flexible baud rates for data transmissions up to 1,000 kb/s to within 1 percent accuracy for nonstandard baud rates and 0.01 percent accuracy for standard baud rates. With the high-performance DMA engine, you achieve high throughput with minimal CPU usage. With hyperthreading and multicore processor compatibility, you can take advantage of the latest PC technology for higher speeds and better efficiency. The PCI-8430/16 is capable of maintaining full bus loads across all 16 ports simultaneously. National Instruments also offers easy-to-use, powerful software that significantly reduces your development time for systems that use serial communication with the PCI-8430/16. The PCI-8430/16 features new integrated breakout cables that eliminate the breakout box used on the legacy PCI-8420/16. Compatible with Windows and LabVIEW Real-Time OSs High-speed DMA interface minimizes CPU overhead Flexible standard and nonstandard baud rates from 57 baud to 1,000,000 baud 128 B transmit and receive FIFOs; maintain 1,000 kb/s across all 16 ports Includes 2 cables (68-pin VHDCI to 8 D-sub 9-pin male ports) Includes NI-Serial COM port driver and NI-VISA API for easy programming in LabVIEW The PCI-8430/16 board, two NI 1:8 breakout cables, and NI-Serial 14.0 software will be well packaged and sent by USPS Priority Mail, insured, signature required. The tracking # will be entered into ebay and paypal after shipment.
