Tested, used, National Instruments (NI) PXI-8174 embedded real-time controller, same as shown, with 20GB hard drive and 128MB memory. The controller is running Windows 2000 Professional SP2, with NI software installed. The controller has assembly part # 187317F-610. Only the controller is included. Was able to use a USB mouse and keyboard without problem to operate, did not use PS/2 devices - if you would like to use PS/2 mouse and keyboard and need a NI splitter cable, one will be provided at no additional charge-- just send request by ebay message at time of purchase. We lack experience with this operating system and therefore have not altered the configuration of the unit, confirmed that it has an unlocked administrator account which should allow one to reconfigure for a particular use, or if you have the right software, should be able to reinstall and configure as required. This is an older configuration unit which certainly will not be upgradeable to a newer supported Microsoft operating system- do not purchase if are not familiar with and knowledgeable of this type/model controller. We were able to confirm that the display, USB and Ethernet ports are all working properly- the unit provided a nice display at 1280x960 in true color mode. From NI- The The NI 8171 series includes three configurations: the NI 8176, NI 8175, and NI 8174. All three modules have a standard I/O set, and some modules include additional I/Oconnections. The standard I/Oon all modules includes video, RS-232 serial port, parallel port, two USB ports, 10/100 ENET, PS/2 mouse and keyboard port, Reset button, and PXI Trigger. The NI 8174 has a 566 MHz processor, all the standard I/O, and a 10 GB (or larger) hard drive. The PXI-8174 controller will be well packaged and sent in box via USPS Priority Mail, signature required, insured. The tracking # will be entered into ebay and Paypal systems after shipment.
