National Instruments USB-232/2, dual port RS232 interface for USB. The unit is fully tested with external loopback, including use of CTS/RTS control/handshake lines. Device has part # 187660D-01, same unit in photos. The unit includes a shielded USB cable. The device is in excellent condition. This listing is for the USB-232/2 device and USB cable only, no other items are included. NI-Serial software/driver is available from NI website if required. from NI- NI USB-232/2 interfaces transform your Universal Serial Bus (USB) port into two asynchronous serial ports for communication with RS232 serial devices. USB-232 ports use the NI-Serial driver to work as standard serial ports in any Windows application. NI-Serial also includes the NI-VISA API for accessing advanced serial port features and writing interface-independent code that is compatible with any interface that supports VISA. Compatible with any application that uses COM ports on Windows 7/Vista/XP PCs Standard baud rates up to 230.4 kb/s, 128 B transmit-and-receive FIFOs Two fully functional RS232 ports, including RTS/CTS hardware handshake lines DTE and DCE transceiver modes with automatic transceiver detection eliminates null modem cables Bus-powered, requires no external power; power and TX/RX LEDs, D-Sub 9-pin male connectors The USB-232/2 and USB cable will be sent in box by USPS Priority Mail, insured. The tracking # will be entered into ebay and paypal after shipment.
