I am selling my shop made frost removing machine, I built it entirely and have used it several times, I'm going to try to include as much info as I can but if you have any questions plz contact me It's has a 300,000 btu Smith, oil fired boiler / steam cast iron furnace/ boiler which was installed brand new, it has the smallest standard nozzle in it , if more heat or faster recovery is needed, a larger nozzle can be easily installed. It has a 100 gal self contained fuel tank, a water pump designed and built by Anderson pumps here in wisconsin and is capable of long periods of operation at the designed temperatures. It has a power in and out hose feel with adjustable speed, and a foot operated control, with 3000 ft of 3/4 hose in 300 foot lengths, with water tight quick couplers attached. It has 6 inlet and outlet ports with sight flow gauges. It is completely 110 powered. With a shoreline plug in. And can be powered with a generator, (not included). The system has fail safes including low water and high temp and furnace out ,shut downs with exterior lights indicating proper operation and failure. The trailer that it is all contained in is made of heavy gauge steel and wrapped in an aluminum skin. All doors are steel framed, alum skinned with locking stainless steel latches. A 7000 lb axle with brakes and nearly new 16 inch E rated tires. A 2 inch ball hitch . Full dot lights all the way around . I built the machine aprox 8 yrs ago and used it one winter on 2 job sites and and I have used it one time to heat a house of a neighbor who's outdoor wood stove went down. I easily plumbed into his system and heated his entire home . Total hours on the machine I would guess at about 500 . I haven't had it running in 2 yrs and I plugged it in, threw the switched and it ran like the day I parked it. I tried to make a very good reliable machine for myself. And it worked flawlessly. I have decided to quit doing concrete and excavating work in the winter so I would like to sell it to someone that can use it for a lot less than the commercially made ones.
