This is a home-brew Frequency Counter that I built and that looks Commertial.  It was designed by two hams on their lunch hours - hence the name.  The prototype drew a lot of interest and it became a Club project.  Interest was so high that they decided to make production PC boards and sell a parts kit.  I bought a kit and purchased the rest of the parts and put them in storage.  Two years ago I found time to build it, and here it is.  Here are some of the Specifications.  DISPLAY - six digits, big enough  to read.    FREQUENCY RANGE - audio ( touchtone pads) through all the popular amateur  bands (1.8 MHz to 450 MHz).  SENSITIVITY -  sufficient for most solid-state rigs, but not  sensitive enough to produce unnecessary counting on noise (10 mV to25 mV).  ACCURACY - +/- 10 Hz to +/- 100Hz.  and POWER - 12 V dc. The article then goes on to explain the Design , Troubleshooting, Wiring and Parts List.      Schematic is also included along with more pictures.  I had   no problems making this unit and it worked when completed.
