THIS AUCTION IS FOR A USED Vintage The Magic Wand Welder Transformer Model A-1 Mfg. by PATENT SPECIALTIES, Inc. Patent Pending Obtained at a local estate auction in New England I do not know the history of this item Serial Number on the instructions read: 21323 This item shows wear dues to age and use and storage. I did not test the welder. I would if I had a welders mask but unfortunately I don’t. Another reason I did not test it is because as you can see in the pictures, one of the wand tips set screw that holds the rods is broken off. There is wear on both the unit and the box. The handle shows wear and some corrosion but it is still pretty strong. Same with the box latches. There is also signs of corrosion (rust) on the welder and the metal parts and trim of the box. The instructions and card are there and in fair shape. The paperwork is not in great condition but still readable. I tool off the top cover to let you see the inside. Please look at the pictures closely. Please some screws have rust. The box measures approximately 15 1/2” x 12” x 8” at its largest dimensions. It weighs almost 30 lbs. You are receiving the other items such as the plate and flux as pictured. Please look at pictures carefully before bidding!
